Intimate Winter by Dylan Nardini
Spending time photographing the landscape is often thought of as a place of solace,
where everything slows down and thoughts drift off into the surrounding silence.
Winter landscapes heighten the whole experience, where we find ourselves in more isolation as fewer people venture out into the harsh cold environment, traffic slows in the hazardous conditions reducing any distant din, while a deafening silence is only cushioned and encased within soft falling snow.
'Intimate Winter" is a collection of images that try to capture these senses that I experienced when discovering the landscape in search of my moments of blissful solace.
